About IIT JEE Exam
JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination and it is an entrance examinations for Architecture & Engineering aspirants. There are three phases of JEE examinations which are: Mains, Advanced and Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
IIT JEE Main Exam
Mains examination is conducted in online mode in the months of January and April. NITs and many other prestigious engineering institutions grant admissions to aspirants on the basis of marks scored in this examination.
Students have to score a minimum qualifying mark in this exam to be able to sit in the JEE Advanced exam. The exam pattern is given in the table below:

This exam is more difficult than the Mains examination and students who qualify JEE Mains and score above 75% in board examinations can appear for this examination. If the candidate qualifies this exam, they are allotted courses and campuses in accordance to their score and choice. The exam pattern is given in the table below:
JEE B Arch (AAT)
Candidates who wish to pursue Architecture as their career, need to take this examination. The exam pattern is given in the table below:

TIPS TO CRACK IIT JEE MAINS AND ADVANCE
- Know your syllabus, make a study plan and stick to it
- Study the topics that you learnt in your classroom on the very day, practice problems on that topic, revise what was taught to you earlier.
- Always remember that practice makes a person perfect.
- Always have a clear concept, never hesitate to ask questions from your teachers.
- Practice to make your calculations faster.
- Never skip tests, identify your weak areas and practice more to strengthen those areas
- Remember, Mock tests are a must
- Solving one book entirely is considered better over trying to solve many books.
- Always refresh your memories with frequent revisions.
- It may happen that you feel low and frustrated. Talk to your parents, teachers and seniors in such circumstances.
